Relief from the heat!

To escape the 107 degree day, we went to Cannon Beach for the evening. Little did we realize that we would go from one extreme to another. It was so cold there, I almost had to buy a Mo's sweatshirt!

Cabin trip

The three of us went up to Camp Sherman for the weekend. It was very warm, but relaxing. We went to Scout lake on Saturday, went on many walks, and played at the school.

Oaks park

Leah and I went to Oaks park for a few hours. We had fun riding the train, carousel, and the "Rockin Tug". To our delight we ran into cousin Callie and Chase just in time for story time and cookies!

The Wiggles concert

The zoom on our camera broke so all of our pictures look like they are from a mile away. We had a blast, and Leah was mesmerized for an hour and a half!

First weekend away w/o Leah..

Chris and I will be celebrating our 4 year anniversary this week! Last weekend we went to The Resort at the Mountain, in Welches, Or. We had never been there, and didn't know what to expect, but we were so pleased with our decision. It was newly remodeled, and so comfortable. On Saturday we went up to Timberline Lodge, and took a tour. It was amazing being so close to Mt. Hood. It was a fabulous trip, and a big thank you to Grandma Loudie for taking excellent care of Leah!
